London team West Ham United are plotting their first home win of the current Premier League campaign ahead of the visit of WolverhamptonWanderers. The Hammers have the poorest home record in the Premier League this season with a single point from their first three games ahead of the game with Wolves. As a result, they are languishing in the bottom three on the Premier League log at the moment
West Ham United started the new Premier League season on a tough note with the visit of defending champions Manchester City and the game ended in a 2-0 defeat courtesy the brace from ErlingHaaland either side of the half-time interval. In their next game at home, West Ham United recorded the same scoreline as they were beaten by Brighton and Hove Albion through the goals from Alexis Mac Allister (penalty) and Leandro Trossard. The Hammers picked up their only home point with the comeback 1-1 draw at home to Tottenham Hotspur in the London Derby. The Spurs game was their last home game in the Premier League till date.
Just like the Hammers, Wolves have struggled to pick up points in the opening weeks of this season. As a matter of fact, the two teams are in the bottom four ahead of their game on Saturday evening. Only two points separate the two teams meaning that West Ham United can climb out of the bottom three with a win over Wolves. The Hammers are third from bottom on the present Premier League table as stated earlier with four points from seven games, while Wolves are fourth from bottom with six points from seven games.
